Discover the culinary journey of Chef Prashant Chipkar, a native of Goa, India, whose passion for food led him to pursue a degree in Hotel
Management from Arun Muchhala International College. Beginning his culinary voyage with the renowned Taj Group of Hotels, Chef Prashant honed his
skills in the vibrant kitchens of Mumbai and Goa before venturing into esteemed restaurants across Bangkok, Geneva, and Dubai. Notably, he
contributed to the success of GAGGAN in Bangkok, acclaimed as Asia’s #1 and a top 10 contender in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants from
2015 to 2018. His expertise further flourished as chef de cuisine at the Michelin-starred RASOI at the Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, where
his leadership earned the restaurant a prestigious Michelin star for two consecutive years.
With a wealth of international exposure, Chef Prashant has cultivated a unique culinary style infused with global influences, showcasing local
ingredients and modern techniques. Currently serving as Executive Chef in Dubai, he spearheads the launch of innovative dining concepts such as
Bombay Bungalow, Masti, and My Mosa. Beyond the kitchen, Chef Prashant finds inspiration in travel and photography, enriching his creative
pursuits.
Chef Prashant’s culinary prowess has been recognized with multiple awards in Dubai, including the Pro Chef 2021 winner in the Indian category
and TIMEOUT’s Best Indian Restaurant 2022. His dedication to culinary excellence continues to garner acclaim, establishing him as a prominent
figure in the culinary landscape.
