Arun Muchhala International College of Hotel Management established a College Internal Complaint of Committee WOMEN GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL in line with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, to ensure a safe work environment. The committee aims to prevent, prohibit, and redress sexual harassment through policy development, awareness programs, strict enforcement, and fair reporting mechanisms. Sensitization efforts include training sessions and legal compliance. Appointed by the Principal, the committee includes a Chairperson, Secretary, and external member from women’s rights organizations, faculty and administrative staff. By establishing this committee, the college underscores its commitment to fostering a workplace free from sexual harassment, where women can work without fear.
Women’s Grievances Redressal Cell is meant to safe guard and promote well-being of all women employees of the organization. It takes care of all complaints and Requirements of women staff and students in the campus and action taken for redressal of complaints.
Arun Muchhala International college Of Hotel Management is committed to creating and maintaining a community in which students, teachers and non-teaching staff can work together in an environment free of violence, harassment, exploitation and intimidation. This includes all forms of gender violence, sexual harassment and discrimination on the basis of sex/gender. Sexual harassment has come to be widely condemned as a form of human rights violation and as an infringement on life and liberty as defined by the Constitution of India.
The Scope of this cell will be physical premises under the supervision of the College, and the areas where Staff and Students travel to as part of their academic work as members of the College. The jurisdiction will include field trips, sports tournaments, conferences, college festivals and all other activities undertaken.
